The Shorewood PTA is a community of caring volunteers who work together to support the health, well-being, and educational needs of all Shorewood Elementary students. We’re parents, guardians, teachers, and staff who believe that every child deserves a strong, supportive, and inclusive school community.
Founded in 1956, Shorewood Elementary PTA has a long and proud history of providing an exceptional education to students of all ages. Over the years, we have adapted and evolved to meet the changing needs of our students and community, while remaining true to our core values.
Our mission is to support the health, well-being, and educational needs of all Shorewood students.
We do more than put on FUN events like our Craft Bazaar, Multicultural Night, Math Adventure, and Spring Carnival.
We also provide:
It’s a joy for us to also give a free Shorewood T-shirt, a birthday pencil, and free popcorn once a month to every Shorewood student and staff member!
The PTA’s work is powered entirely by volunteers and funded by community donations, fundraisers, and grants.

Whether you have five minutes or five hours, there’s a way for everyone to participate!
